Casa Montalvo Traditional Flamenco Guitar

Being offered is a very good Casa Montalvo flamenco guitar. The guitar, cosmetically is in good condition with the exception of 3 dings on the lower bout along the bindings - 2 on one side and 1 on the other side. The size of the dings are about the same as the head of a pin - very small and don't show up in the pictures. There are also air bubbles under the golpeador (Tap Plate} which also don't appear in the photos. There are no cracks or signs of repair and the neck is straight. The sound is bright and sweet with a little more sustain than your typical flamenco guitar. The volume is also very good. This particular guitar has a versatile sound and would be good for someone that plays different styles of music. The guitar was purchased from Berkley Music on 4/19/2011, the owner, Jorge Montalvo told me that it was traded for a concert model by the original owner. On a personal note, this particular guitar sounds great and plays like "butter", don't take my word for it the guitar comes with a 30 day trial period.

Hi,

Thank you for your interest. I have no video or audio samples but those really don't do a guitar any justice. A person really needs to look at and play a guitar to make an honest assessment. The 30 day trial period gives a person plenty of time to decide if they like the guitar. I'm at work right now, I'll upload more photos later today. Have a good weekend!

Regards,

Dan

A little bit late uploading the photos, sorry. The pictures were taken with a 7 year old HP digital camera and aren't the best quality.

For 450.00 you don't need to offer a 30 day tryout period. These are good guitars and for 450.00 this is a dream entry guitar. It will take a player pretty far before they need another guitar.

Someone should grab this.
