Hi everyone

I can't find any information on how far a peg should hang underneath the head - some guitars seem to be all peg and others have the tuning knobs about one head depth away. They should protrude roughly 1.2 cm above the top I read, but underneath? Any help gratefully received. I am using ebony pegs with a 60mm stem (not inc. tuning knob). Thanks, Jeff.

Use a scrap piece of wood and experiment and get the look you like. It is a personal preference. Don't cut your peg length until you have then fit the way you like. I do whatever looks good on the instrument.
