Ricardo -> RE: Luthier's 20 D string always break (Jul. 6 2011 0:27:41)

Often I have bought multi packs of brand X, and have a problem that it is a bad batch of strings. Would be a good idea to buy strings from different sources, regardless of the brand name. Not anyone's fault, just something I have noticed over the years of buying tons of strings, often in bulk. D string is thinest so always first to go, have had problems with all strings breaking except the G, but we know there are intonation problems there, etc. Good luck, and don't write off any one brand till you have given em a fair chance.
