This guy busks with a guitar playing machine. It's foot/air operated I think. He built it himself as he found us guitarists unreliable - being late, smoking, drinking etc.

There is a resonator guitar in there somewhere.

Found a shaky video of him and his guitar machine. You figure it out [;)]

This is the first "real" Blues guitarist I ever saw.
It was in the Woodside Halls in Glasgow.
I was 14 and it totally changed my view on music.

(I can hear Chuck Berry, Beatles (before his time)...EVERYBODY in this...his own composition)

My schoolfriend "Hacker" smuggled a portable tape recorder inside, but we were stopped by a drunken "security" guard who said...

"Haud on a minute Jimmy, ye canny play that inside the hall."

We said that we had no intention of "playing" it and went on to record the whole concert. [:D][:D]

This is the first song I ever performed at the school folk club (after an illegal pint at "The Railway Tavern" funded by my older schoolmates who looked 18.)

Ah...ol' Jesse.

I wonder if he's gone to pastures new now...

cheers,

Ron

Here's another guy influenced by Jesse Fuller...

I love this stuff as I like "party" Flamenco and not all of this cerebral masturbation stuff..

So there..

cheers,

Ron

If he was working in China he could be knitting garments for the West and making some money with that foot technique.

cheers,

Ron

That's awesome, but can his machine play tremolo, alzapua, or rasgueados? [8D][:D]

I am always amazed that the most simple effect in photography "greyscale" has such an artistic effect. Why have colored pictures not the same effect? (Except HDR which has the greatest potential of all IMO...At least, I like it the most.)
