Chiropractors are a hazard in my opinion, and I studied this stuff (Radiography College at the Middlesex Hospital , London). I also was nearly crippled by one in the US. Osteopaths, physios or surgery. I had all three in the end. For this one, I would go to an osteopath, though I think they are rarer in the US? Chiropractic can do more harm than good. You really should avoid chiropractors. I had a conversation with a chiropractor a few years ago and he told me that insurance companies decided they do the same thing as physical therapists. Not good for the chiropractic profession... Osteopaths are accepted in most states in the US as physicians provided they attend a school that is similar to a medical school which follows the same training steps, etc. Instead of MD they have DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) after their names. I don't think there are many masters level osteopaths in the US, but they would likely be considered physical therapists.
