nosferatu -> Acompañamiento al Cante por Bulerias (Jun. 5 2011 14:51:06)

Hello to all of you, this is mi first post,so i will take it as presentation,i am a classical guitar player most of the time, because i like it and because had ¿Carpian tunnel? that kept me out of playing for almost 5 years, and my fingernails became weak ,yeah i know...so take care of you. I have very advanced skills but i need to play "A compás" now i'm trying to go back whit flamenco and is almost impossible to find good resources for acompanying cante por Bulerias.please helpme,i know the Bulerias are floating in the Rythm, and are much more fluid than other palos.are difficult for explaining and a big Etc...Etc...Etc...but please please please. To play Bulerías it's the everydays meal for a flamenco tocaor.i know the chords but no teacher available now
PS. I speak spanish as my native language,so can help to anybody.

hi and welcome to the forum, i look forward to your contributions and input :-)

I understand exactly what you mean...accompanying cante is not a very covered topic in books and web compared to the other aspects of flamenco guitar...Jason McGuire and Adam del Monte and a few others do a great job of tackling that and changing it...but it will take some time to build a huge library of examples..

heres a thread that will be interesting to you...it covers more then just bulerias but theres also a lot of bulerias...start from page 1 and go through it :-)

get on of the cante without guitar tracks provided there... start slow...listen to the examples, do your own accompaniment, upload and we all help each other

HI evererybody,i´m trying to "catch up on the fly"?-agarrarlo al vuelo-but is very dificult,i know i can do it because i´m not a rookie but i still need to see (to read) a music score,a couple of short examples whit basic rasgueo and chord changes and letra will save a lot of time for me,could be usefull for comparing the structure of the cante
