Curro is from Malaga. I know him from when I used to live near the city. Malaga has a small flamenco scene centered around the flamenco peña but is not known as a producer of great flamenco artists. (unless you count Paco de lucia ) Curro is one of the better players and often performs with the quadro "la Lupi" who are on the international circuit.
