Hey Champs! I'm Starting to do solo gigs and while i do like to play my little repertoire of menko stuff, i'd really love to learn some other cool tunes that sound different but use similar techniques (no more PHRYGIAN!!!!) More songs rather than little bits joined to other little bits. So any Tabs or recomended Cd's would be great. Also, it would be good if you didn't have to be a little PACO to play them (intimediate level is good) Thanks

LARONE

You might want to get Toques Flamencos by Paco Pena. This is a book with both standard notation and tab, and comes with a tape of the music. It contains maybe 8 self-contained pieces that are not too difficult, and sound good.

If you have good rhythm, than I suggest Gypsy Kings stuff. Not too hard, but still has a bit of flamenco flavor. Have not seen decent tabs so you will have to get it by ear.

Instrumentals:Inspiration, Morea, Pharaon, Allegria, Flamencos en el Aire, Love and Liberte, etc.
