Adam -> Paco "No Quisiera Que Te Fueras" falseta (Apr. 14 2011 14:38:56)
Looking for the first falseta he does on this song with CamarĂ³n, see here:
through 0:33 or so. Anyone know where I can find tabs for this? I'd imagine he also does this falseta on one of his solo recordings from the 70s but I can't seem to find it.

I've been working on transcribing this by ear (and software [:D]), it's not terribly hard but it's my first time transcribing a flamenco falseta so I'll try to run it by some of you more experienced types!
In particular I'm wondering about the chords Paco (not the random guy in the video, he plays the wrong ones! [:D]) plays between 0:16 and 0:18. It looks to me like

quote:
ORIGINAL: Rico_Kiko
I hear it as Ebmaj7 Fmaj Gmaj Cmaj
if I am on th e right 4 chords...
You are, but the chords I posted are with the cejilla on 5 (my bad for forgetting to mention that) so it looks like we agree except I definitely hear the last chord as minor rather than major.
But what I'm especially curious about is the fingerings. I don't think I have it quite right for the last two, maybe also the first two.

Interesting. Is it a good book? I might pick it up. Although I've got my eye on David Leiva's as it also has stuff for the actual accompaniment.
I've played through what's on the sample page and it's pretty close to what I'd transcribed. I think there are a couple of issues with his transcription, for example I think a couple of times when he writes Bb it's actually a Bbmaj7, but I'll have to take another look at the audio to tell for sure.

well I relistened and put the capo on the 5th and now I have this....
Sorry if it looks funny as I am not used to TAB ( rather music) anyway the last chord I dont hear a third at all ( no B or Bb ) so it's kind of ambigous.
Let me know what you think, it s a bit late for me playing now......

Turns out this is also the opening falseta to "Punta del Faro" on Duende Flamenco. I've got Faucher's tab for that and he agrees very closely with what I've transcribed so far. As for the chords I posted, he did it the same way except playing the Gm as 355xxx rather than 3100xx.
