Can anyone tell me whats the difference between Luthier 30 and 40? They're both Medium - High Tension.

I have luthier 30 on my beautifull Anders Blanca.... (on He's suggestion) and I LOVE the FLAMENCO sound of this guitar!.
I have no experience of luthier 40 but I have seen them on some classical concert guitar.

ciao
Giambattista

I also use Luthier's 30 Bass Set. I have no opinion about the trebles, but as i read Ander's opinion are very good especially the 1st and the 2nd. I suppose that Anders still uses D' Addario G Composite... [;)]

Luthier 30-40...[:-]

I thought at first this was a "wanted" advert from an Internet Dating site, from a foxy lady who had a hankering after such a fellow.

I was going to inform Estebanana after his tale about the lack of success with the Irish woman.

Damn...what a drag it's just about strings....

Oh well, I'm sure somewhere, some beautiful posh chick has a total fetish about being bedded and roughly shagged by a famous Luthier with the sawdust still upon his clothes...

I'm serious!

"The world is full of a number of things"...

Which is from a book I read of unusual quotations, like...

"Tradesmen don't drink wine".

and

"There are no pianos in Japan".

cheers,

Ron

Oh Ron,
I had second date with the Irish woman. I think she gets up too early in the morning to be with a flamenco person......but say did say I was attractive to her. She said "Funny that you're quite good looking, but I'm still not attracted to you."

The strings.. uuhh uhh.......yeah

So when you meet that sawdust fetishizing girl, send her to Old Esteban. :)

I once knew a sawdust fetishizing (is that a word?) gal that would be great for Stephen. It's just too bad he more a blanca and she's searching for a negra type of guy.

So, any differences on the two sets of strings? [8|]

I don't think that would really be so important so long as it was hardwood.

cheers,

Ron

Luthier 40 has bronze basses. No good for flamenco. Depending on the guitar, I sometimes prefer the 35, which are alloy and last very long but they sound harsh on some guitars.

Thanks a lot Anders... [:D]
