I tend to place players like Nunez, rafael cortes, Miguel A cortes, PDL, Vicente amigo into one category of style..

But I don't know anyone that playing in the style that Moraito plays.

Look at what Manuel Parrilla, Paco Cepero and Niño Jero did/have done with Manuel Morao's ideas. Parrilla's nephew Manuel is another.

I would say you must listen to guitarists who are specialists of accompanying. Look for recordings of Terremoto de Jerez who worked a great deal with Morao.

Quique Paredes perhaps, no longer playing but I do like what he did

Hmm I mean anything from Jerez should be right for you, definitely check Moraito's son Diego del Morao.

From the same movie as that YouTube video is from. Somewhat off-topic from the thread but man can Manuel sing!!

That was nice. I feel the same way and I showed it to my wife, and she said "she would still cry"

Quique had a car accident and has taken a long while to recover (I think it happened 8 years ago at least). I heard he is teaching again out at one of Sevilla's pueblos, performing only rarely.

Wow, I didn't realize the other videos in the "I cant stop watching this video thread" are from the same movie. I showed the movie's website (www.beingintheworldmovie.com) to my friend who's a Heidegger nut and he loved it, too [:D] I think it'll be fascinating, it's not often you see a movie featuring no holds barred flamenco, and it's not often you see one discussing Heideggerian philosophy either. This should be both! Props to them for that.

You're not wrong, Bruce![;)]

No (overt) philosophy in this one, but worth hearing, very nice feeling - Diego Amaya accompanying Fernando Terremoto (fandangos, then bulerías):
