VietFlamenco -> 2010 Francisco Navarro Blanca $700 (Apr. 1 2011 20:47:42)

I have a 2010 Francisco Navarro Blanca for sale. I bought this guitar from La Falseta in August of 2010, so it's fairly new. The price I paid to Tom Nunez including shipping was $1195. This guitar was upgraded with German Spruce top and pegs. Here is a link to the guitar.

http://www.lafalseta.com/navarro_flamencos.html

It is the Student-2 model.

Specs:
Top: German Spruce
Back/Sides: Cypress
Fingerboard: Cocobolo
Neck: Cedar
Scale: 650mm
Turners: Pegs
Case Included

The guitar was professionally setup by C.B. Perkins Lutheiry Company. The work included adjusting saddle and nut for lower action as well as re leveling the frets. This is a $150 value.

The guitar is very percussive and easy to play. If you live in or around San Jose, California, I invite you to come to my home and try it out. I know you will like it. I can ship to anywhere within the United States, but you pay for shipping.

Western Union, Cashier Check, and normal check accepted. For checks, i have to wait until the money clears before I ship you the guitar.

There are 2 tiny scratches on the guitar that you will probably not notice unless I point them out.

Price to Sale: $700

Shipping only in US?

VietFlamenco -> RE: 2010 Francisco Navarro Blanca $700 (Apr. 3 2011 23:53:13)

I guess I can ship it internationally. I have never shipped overseas before and don't know if any taxes are involved. If you like, I can find out.

If you can tell me the shipping cost for Athens, Greece we can discuss it... [:)]

Shipping from US to Europe used to be substantially less in price than the other way around.

Must either have been because of shippers having to crawl upwards on the globe, or for Europeans having been considered easy wallet prey.

This seems to have changed not too long ago, with US customers now apparently considered of `equal rights´.
Meanwhile tarifs seem to be around 500 bucks for a guitar with private shippers, and around ~ 160 or so with post office.

I had one shipped per post office to Europe last year and it worked out okey-dokey.

If you prefer to spare some wasted cash and can wait ~ 2 to 3 weeks you could go that route.
At that price for the guitar and roughly ~ 150 bucks tax ´n customs upcharge you wouldn´t even need to fake invoice ( and risk under insurance ).

Ruphus,
is the guitar still for sale? why are you selling ?

VietFlamenco -> RE: 2010 Francisco Navarro Blanca $700 (Apr. 11 2011 19:35:42)

A few of you have emailed me regarding the shipping cost of this instrument.

Shipping to Athens, Greece is approximately $370
Shipping to Melbourne, Australia is $400

I think it's a bit expensive shipping.

VietFlamenco -> RE: 2010 Francisco Navarro Blanca $700 (Apr. 12 2011 18:59:40)

Gounaro, I agree that the shipping costs are excessive, but those are the price listed by FedEx and DHL. Hence, I really prefer to sell locally or within the US to keep shipping costs low and make the total cost to own for the buyer worthwhile.

TANúñez -> RE: 2010 Francisco Navarro Blanca $700 (Apr. 13 2011 21:48:52)

UPS quoted me $600 to ship a Navarro to Australia if you can believe that.

Hi is your francisco navarro still for sale. I am from san jose and I can come see the guitar tonight.

Michael1917 -> RE: 2010 Francisco Navarro Blanca $700 (Jul. 9 2011 3:25:24)

yeah, shipping to Europe from USA right now is outrageous and then the person in Europe may have to pay import duty tax on top. I was able to ship a guitar to Japan recently through the US Postal Service for $85-----the box has to be a certain size for the USPS, but it worked, arrived fine, customer happy.

SOLD!

I hope the new owner will get many hours of enjoyment out of this guitar. He can certainly play it much better than I can.
