runner -> Jay "Jacinto" Kantor (Mar. 11 2011 0:59:11) Enormously knowledgeable and extremely passionate aficionado Jay "Jacinto" Kantor was found dead in his apartment in New York on March 4th. Jay lived alone, and it is thought that perhaps he died in late February, evidently of a heart attack. Jay was part of the group of enthusiasts who visited Spain starting in the 1960s and who fell under the spell of the flamenco of Morón de la Frontera and of its archtypical master, Diego del Gastor. Those who knew Jay will surely miss him.
