ORIGINAL: Ricardo Um, if it was hot enough to slightly melt and warp your strings, then the glue holding your guitar together should have liquified as well!![:D][:D] The guitar was brought over from aborad for me, with the last of the route sent by a taxi ( whichs dumb driver put it into the trunk ). The action had come down to near zero and the sound was so weak and out of tune that I thought it to be the natural condition of this instrument. Already had set up a nasty mail to the seller, threatening to make him refund, when in a last attempt me came to the idea of restringing. Totally disappointed I had let the gitar in its case for about 4 days or so without another look at it. Luckily it had completely recovered, and with new strings on it turned out to even be the best of my collection. Can“t tell how relieved it felt to have had not sent out the nasty mail yet!
