Great video Arash!

I have never seen this guy before. I like his playing. Some really cool moments where everyone comes together.

El Tuto?

orsonw -> RE: Buleria - Who is this guy? (Dec. 23 2010 9:31:27)

His name is Justo Fernández "Tuto"

Loved everything about this, the atmosphere, the palmas, the music, the technique, the sound of the guitar, the colour of the guitar!

It is filmed at a tablao in Barcelona called "El tablao de Carmen". I recognise the other guitartists and the singers and dancers standing around from a great performance I saw there. All the artists are a similar calibre to this guitarist, if anyone is ever in Barcelona it's worth checking them out.

Don't know where this is but looks like a good night! Has a Juerga feeling.

Thanks for info.
The guy who uploaded the vid, didn't know the name either.
Informed him now.

This guy is really good.
Heavily influenced by Jesus de Rosario obviously.

I think here is the same guy (Tuto) with Duquende

The more I watch him, the more I like his playing. That's the kind of power you need to play flamenco guitar.

he is a machine. a bit like tomatito just with more versatile rasgeados, and maybe cooler ideas.

Anyone know what tuto means?

I like his choice in guitars as well.

bursche -> RE: Buleria - Who is this guy? (Jan. 3 2011 9:46:01)

the first buleria reminds me a bit of Niño Josele's Najela from Calle Ancha.

Strong attack, a lot of notes, fast rhythm with many variations - you can almost say this is common for "toque joven". Great guitarist!

CarloJuan -> RE: Buleria - Who is this guy? (Jan. 3 2011 13:04:17)

damn he's young...now i'm envious. How old is he? Besides from Javier, they look like the same age?
