frontview 8 in / 8 out ADAT SPDIF Wordclock [:D] Drivers from the rme site let you control the mixer (also via usb/midi). PCI card is for the PC, because it won't work with the normal firewire connection. Images are resized automatically to a maximum width of 800px

Uh oh. I plan to switch to Imac too and I use the MOTU Ultralite. I thought there was some kind of firewire adapter plug?(800 to 400)

I haven't checked the site for newer material, but its topclass material. You should check it out for the Motu Gummy, so you're not supprised afterwards.

OH ok. Mine uses a standard Firewire 400 plug. I have a card(the newer replacement for pmcia... I forget the designation now) for my laptop. I will look into it further, thanks for bringing it up. I hear a new imac is in the works, who knows what it will have for ports. I don't have enough money right now to get the new computer anyway.
