Hey Guys,

After a hellish journey out of London's Heathrow Airport to Spain yesterday I managed to get through the above book thanks to the massive delays.

It's journalistic style history and perspective of Spain which most would find interesting, but of particular interest, you may enjoy the chapter called ' The mean streets of Flamenco' where author Giles Tremlett treads a dangerous path through the drug ravaged gypsy ghettos south of Sevilla and the prisons of Spain in search of what he considers to be true flamenco.

It's a good read for anyone interested in Spain but for you guys living outside of Europe it might just have some added value of painting a picture of modern and historical Spain.
