I believe Devoe's bracing is basically Torres with some tweeks.

Hmmm, I 'll try it tonite but I didn't expect spruce to be see-through. Are we sure it is not x-rays? :) D.

Yes spruce is see-through with light inside the guitar The Devoe looks like Torres puro. (except the kite is not totally closed) But we don't know how he works the top plate. Whoever braced that HSL was high off glue fumes.

I think if Picasso built guitars he would have braced liked that HSL. Most HSL F Extras I have examined have a Conde style bracing pattern. There was a brief moment they were "experimenting" with a different bracing pattern and I was told it didn't work out.

Speaking about bracing systems is like talking religion, super subjective and faith based. However I would say that 7 fan guitars can be as big and loud as 5 fan guitars. It's all about the maker not the sticks.
