Has anyone used Titebond Liquid Hide Glue? Curious. It specifically says "Its sensitivity to moisture allows for easy disassembly of parts, a critical benefit in antique restoration or the repair of musical instruments."

Probably not anything like the real stuff.

Never used it, Never intend to.
It has a really bad reputation in luthierie.

Thanks Jeff. After much research that seems to be the same opinion from many luthiers.

Several luthiers have said that in certain temperatures they had joint failures using this glue. I'll just stick to using fish glue. I love this stuff.

I wouldn't use it either, the urea that gives it the open time is regarded as a degradation. That said, it is or was widely used in furniture making. I was watching a youtube video where a guy was assembling a high stress chair joint. a very technical furniture maker, and out he whipped the liquid HG. The key was to pre-heat the joint and then use the liquid HG. This guy is very technical, and used to live in an academic center of furniture making, and has moved to a commercial center. There is no way he would have just missed the whole "this stuff is no good" thing. But I stick to the consensus for anything that might be used by another.

I do have some of the stuff, by the way.
