My avatar is the Wiz pulling levers behind a curtain

At first glance I thought it was El Niño de las Almendras! [:D] (then I wondered what he was doing...)

Damn, I've never seen Highlander, but Doitsujin's avatar is pretty badass.

Never offend a man with his sword unsheathed. I'd probably need that type of scared mentality to set my ass straight when I'm lazy to work on a Monday morning.

Ron.M -> RE: Your Avatar Sucks! (Jan. 21 2011 22:05:49)

Ahh...the good old Scottish "double-handed" Broadsword....

A bit slow on the response, but it was reputed to be able to slice a man in two, straight down the middle, top to bottom with a well aimed blow. [:D]

Some great examples in Edinburgh & Stirling Castle actually...

Really heavy just to even lift, never mind swing...you'd have to be pretty well-built to use one.

cheers,

Ron

My university offers weekly lessons in fighting with these swords... A friend of mine learned it and told me all I have to know. :.)))
