I got a couple of these guys. They are great. Thanks Liam!
One small recommendation- if you could put a small groove on the one side with the string for it to seat into, that would be rad.
Otherwise, I got 3 of them (one for my teacher Rene)...they are beautiful.

I was lucky enough to be in Dallas a week ago and got to swing by locally :-)
BTW - where is the Flamenco scene in that town? anyone know?

lsnyman -> RE: Cejillas - custom made (Dec. 14 2010 17:46:41)

Scott, I sent you a PM.
In Dallas we used to go to De Tapas, where my teacher Played, but theyclosed a few months back. Another of his students plays at Cafe Madrid a few times a week.
i saw today Tom Nunez lives closeby, maybe he has some insights.

villain -> RE: Cejillas - custom made (Dec. 15 2010 1:12:51)

ah, that's right...I forgot LaFalseta was there in Denton. I even rode up there with a friend. I should have swung by.

Tom - any recommendations for next time I am in town?

TANúñez -> RE: Cejillas - custom made (Dec. 15 2010 12:15:38)

Unfortunately DFW isn't a hot bed for flamenco. There used to be a guy who I believe was a member of the foro. Billy King. He used to play with Ft. Worth based, Encuentro Flamenco. I think they are still around. Also, Flamenco Dallas, Conte de Loyo and Sonidos de Flamenco.

I think Austin has the Flamenco in Texas.

villain -> RE: Cejillas - custom made (Dec. 15 2010 14:30:33)

right on, thanks for the intel.
Ricardo apparently has friends in Austin as well. I'm looking for a winter house in TX...I'm thinking Austin is the place

I added some options for Inlaying crushed stone and metal powders. The stone is Turquoise and I have Malachite.
I will do custom inlays also, let me know what you would like.
