I dont know you, your age, education, place and all that but where there's a will there's a way. Never stop fighting nealf. Try to think positive and go forward. All the best.

No donation button on the forum until this is sorted.

ralexander -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 18 2010 20:17:20)

I'm in to help however I can - turning your back on your music is not the answer, no matter what the problem. Hang in there, brother!

Stephen Eden -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 18 2010 20:49:51)

The Beater is the first guitar I built. A stirdily build blanca. plays easy and can have a good flamenco tone. Just not super loud

mentrida -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 19 2010 0:12:04)

Count me in for a donation.

JasonMcGuire -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 19 2010 0:23:23)

This is one heck of a forum. Even though there are people here bashing there heads on some issues, [:D] people with every bit of funny personality and sarcasm, [;)] in the end they are all men, offering any means of help, and sad to see a fellow comrade leave the foro.

To my amazement, this is one great forum!

Don't give up nealf, music will always beckon you

we will always be here

Carlo

richard -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 19 2010 3:02:44)

You can add mine

marduk -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 19 2010 4:02:56)

nealf, i also had to use a really cheap guitar for a while when i started.

i encourage you to take the dontations (i would happily pitch in 20 next week) there is no shame in letting your friends buy you a guitar. im reading this thread and feeling very sad for you, it doesnt have to end like this,

im looking forward to you coming back to the forum, and i wish you all the best, and hope that whatever is going on in your life, that you and your loved ones are safe

WOw you are amazing Seden [:)]

Ok so Nealf if you are too proud to accept donations, fair enough... how about a loner, and its a flamenco guitar !!...i borrowed many guitars from many friends many times [:D][:D]when i sold a guitar i didn't have my own guitar for about 2 years as i was saving to get another one...and i still manged to perform [:D]...one day when u get back to normal you have the option to return it.....there will be no money involved its just a little loner... and in return you will practice your arse off and make Seden's guitar sound so so good that everybody will want that model with no labels..

this is not a donation or charity its a sponsorship...

if you accept this loner amongst other things i am going to send you :

2 EL viejin books [;)]
Chicuelo Encuentro
Moraito Encuentro
P.Serrano - encuentro
Tomatito - Encuentro
P.Habichuela - encuentro
Oscar Herrero 24 Estudios book
Paco Cepero Aires De Jerez book
The Guitarists Hands book

KMMI77 -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 19 2010 7:40:04)

Wow! Lots of generous people here. I don't know you either but it would suck to have to sell your beautiful guitars.

Its a terrible feeling when the stress of money takes over. I think this time is a good time to create music. You can always get a nice guitar again in the future so giving up completely is probably not the best option. Music is free and gives you an escape from stress. A cheap guitar is all you need.

Stephen Eden -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 19 2010 8:34:47)

Seriously Neal,

The guitar is in storage in the back of my car. It could do with a good home and someone to play it. This is only a lone so I would expect the guitar back when you are in a position to replace it.

I built the guitar in my own dark times. It picked me up and put me on the path to becoming a guitar maker. I hope you will let it do the same for you!

Best Wishes

Steve

edguerin -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 19 2010 16:57:33)

I'm in for a donation (e.g. participating in shipping costs for a guitar..)

aloysius -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 19 2010 23:18:22)

Count me in for a donation - things are good here in Australia now as summer's getting close so there are lots of gigs. Would be the least we could do.

cathulu -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 20 2010 1:04:46)

OK this is weird

So you loose your toys cause you maybe in financial difficulty. Money comes and goes - c'est la vie. It would kill me also to lose my stuff, but then I think:

You are presumably healthy. You are ALIVE. You have potential. You can get up after being knocked down. You can start again.

Some people get rid of their stuff and find it very liberating in the end - maybe this will be the best thing for you.

Play a crappy guitar, anybody can afford that. If you can't do that, seriously, wtf? There is something wrong if you won't play a crappy guitar if a guitar gives you joy to play. It is a wooden box with a stick on it. My physics instructor took great pride from playing his wooden tobacco box he made into a simple four string instrument.

I won't be donating for a guitar, there are better things to donate for, people who's lives I can really make a difference on. People in real need. I took to time to write this and showed I cared, that is enough.

Now if you are ill and broke and need money to pay for help to get better then I will help with a donation.

Good luck in the future

Florian -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 20 2010 7:34:38)

Cathulu...just so we clear ....he wasent asking...I was..( he had no idea)..and he wont accept...so no more talk of donations...trying to convince him to take a loner...

...hes refusing to accept anything as it is...

please amigo...fair enough what you wanna say and u not saying anything bad... but at least let us do what we wanna do...dont make it harder...we trying to get past that...the situation is important enough to many of us

yep cathulu...flo's right

I wish i could donate as well, unfortunately i'm also in some financial troubles, and i'm not working yet cause i'm a student and my work is only part time.

Cheer up amigo

Please one more thing, never forget the power of PRAYER. Things, Tides, Money, Women, Problems....they all pass.

In the end this experience will make you stronger, and if that happens i can't wait to hear the music you'll play.

God bless m8

Nealf has been here forever and shouldnt stop playing.

cathulu -> RE: My Exit .... and Thanks (Nov. 20 2010 17:52:35)

No worries mate

I maybe took to hard a line... but we are only talking stuff in the end. Our health and the loved ones around us are what is important in the end.

You guys are all brilliant though for caring so much!
