marduk -> whats this instrument called (Nov. 17 2010 2:29:24)

i saw a duo the other week, they were not playing flamenco, but i noticed a cajon on stage. it wasnt until they started playing that i realised the cajon had 2 foot pedals and she could use her feet to get 2 different sounds out of it

it didnt sound anywhere near as good as a cajon player, but i was thinking it might be a cool thing to have at home, it would be cool to tap the compas on it while im practicing occasionally, and try to get used to using my feet while im focussed on playing guitar

does anyone know if this is still called a cajon, or if its got a different name

I think it's just called cajon . I have a normal cajon but when I bought it the seller asked me
" Do you want your cajon with pedals or not ?" he even asked me " do you need electrical cajon ? "
so I think they're just developed cajons
somthing like this: right?
