Very interesting to see 109 entries for cante and only 18 for guitar and more foreigners than ever signing up to compete from the United States, Japan, Cuba, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Finland and Morocco.

Dear Kate,

Thanks for the link about the Cordoba Concursos! I absolutely loved Javier La Torre's "Duende y el Reloj". I was sitting front row of that performance just in front of dancer Karen Lugo in the picture on the post :)

This looks like a encore lineup from the Cordoba Guitar Festival.

Everyone should see Gabriel Exposito, the guitarist for Javier LaTorre, he won the Cordoba competition previously, and is awe-inspiring in his current form.
