Law School?
I can see Henry as a stiff but quick witted QC before her Majesty's Court in some fancy chamber on King's Bench Walk. Also serving as prosecutor for the Crown, perhaps?

I like Henry.

Adam -> RE: Where's Henry? (Oct. 31 2010 22:15:48)

He just submitted his masters thesis! So hopefully he'll be back and posting again soon.

Or to quote V.S.Naipaul: "ditto for self and family".

yup, i was up the walls busy finalising my masters thesis. hope to start uploading more stuff and getting more feedback soon.

gj Michelob,
yeah its kinda looking that way, its very difficult to get a position to do devilling (training as junior counsel) in ireland to become a barrister at the moment. middle temple is sounding pretty good at the moment.

btw my thesis was on the changes in the common law in relation to self-defence within the home with a focus on the duty to retreat, castle doctrine and reasonable force. pretty disturbing reading some of the changes in the criminal trends in the usa. my heart nearly broke when i came across the petit family murder.

thats one of things about the criminal law, it is almost a peverse occupation with the darker side of human nature.

Just that: life

Should you need any contact there, please email me, I will gladly sponsor you.
My law partner in NY was a barrister in middle temple chambers; so we have a lot of friends there and we instruct them frequently.
