Hello everyone. I have a question...

Which is best for Spruce? To "open" quickly or to be slow matured?

Just play it!

Chiste,

I'm just asking because i want to make an order and in one case the spruce opens very quickly and to the other the wood matures very slow. And i dont know what to order to reach my taste of sound.

the guitar that you like more. really that is entirely irrelevant when you consider how it was made, who made it etc.

speed of opening up is probably merchant hogwash. pick one, play it a lot

Hi Gounaro

I think you should post this question in the luthiery section. I´m not sure the different builders read this section.

Its actually an interesting subject.
As a builder and seller, I like Spruce that doesnt need a long opening up time. Just li i think Ferrari prefers that their cars can go fast from day one. and ot pot around with 80km/h for the first year or two

So which spruce needs a long time and which ones doesnt?
