doublek, Doit is just jokin' with you... Look man, don't get your heart set too much on a label. I think you're chasing a dream here. (I've done the same thing myself). There are lots of great Flamenco guitars out there. I really wanted an Arcangel Fernandez, but everytime I passed his shop in Madrid, it was closed, with the shutters rolled down. One day I saw him opening up the shop and ran up to ask him what was going on. He said he had a waiting list for the next 5 to 6 years and could not take on any more orders and that he used the shop as a workshop only and not a sales/order outlet as he had in the past. Hence he kept it closed. Reyes is obviously in the same sort of position. So a secondhand one would be the best way to go. But if you are over enthusiastic that it MUST be a Reyes, then the seller is going to have the upper hand and will stick to his top asking price. Tell me doublek, how many top end Flamenco guitars have you actually held in your hands and played? If that's not a lot, then I think you might just be buying into a legend of your own making by listening to your favourite players. I can guarantee a Reyes won't make you sound like Tomatito etc for sure. Have a think about it and spend your money wisely would be my advice. [;)] cheers, Ron
