At the same time?

Um...No..

You could be the FIRST man!

Post a vid when you can![:D]

We'd love to see it!

(Maybe with a Dancer/Cajon player using a neckstrap on the cajon..)

Good stuff!!

cheers,

Ron

Only joking, Elroby...

I was thinking more of a Dancer dancing and playing guitar at the SAME time.. [;)][:D]

(not just with an interest in each)

cheers,

Ron

Rene Heredia teaches both, but Im not sure if he performs both.
He teaches in Colorado. He accompanied Carmen Amaya near the end of her life.

Professionally, as in doing both (separately, Ron[:D]) when performing, I don't think there are any. But don't underestimate the value of a good pataíta!

In the past, the guitarist Currito el de La Jeroma supposedly sang and danced very well, and I've read that he played the piano, too.

Juan Habichuela (Pepe's brother) started as a dancer. They say that Manuel Parrilla was an excellent dancer (his father Tío Parrilla danced) and that Fernando Terremoto hijo was another one who did everything, even writing letras. Similarly, I've heard that the dancer Pepe Torres, the guy in Son de La Frontera, is also an excellent singer and guitarist.

I saw the entire Farruquito clan at a party at Bar Damajuana in Jerez once, all of them taking turns playing and singing, even though in public they just dance. It seems common in Spain to grow up learning all 3.
