Guitars and wine are two of my favourite things, but the recent attempt by Ramírez to market a wine-themed guitar seems rather amusing: Coral [= padauk] sides, and bottom made with three alternate strips coral, oak (wood used for the barrels where wine is aged) strips Grapes mosaic on the soundhole and on the bridge plate. RAMÍREZ LAUNCHES ITS NEW WINE LINE Looking forward to a flamenco version where the oak comes from old 'wiki' barrels and the grape motif is interspersed with cannabis leaves. [;)]

Might be interesting. I thought a lot of those old wine vessels were used to cure cognac etc in later.
