Hello, I wonder if is it so hard to try some falsetas of this Nino's Miguel retro Buleria. I'm just a beginner and i realize that this is too much for me. Especially if cant see from video many things. [:D]

Its better to practice really hard and build up a repertoire of basic but usable falsetas you can use.

Its just going to frustrate you putting in a lot of practice time on material that is way beyond your level. Work your way up to it.

Nino Miguel is hard to play, a while ago I started with his Fandango de Huelva.
But as C.d.G. suggested, start with something manageble and work your way up.

Pay attention to the way he uses his thumb, its a good start.

N.M was competitor of Pdl at his time...so its not the easiest stuff. ;.) But except freaking picado scales, nothing was really hard to play at these days. SO I think all his stuff is good playable.

If youre a real beginner on guitar, 7-10 years minimum to play like the video. Its simple maths IMO: how long did it take Miguel to become as well as in the video? Then if you take into account that he grew up with flamenco around him 24h a day, getting feedback, influence and knowledge from good people, practicing guitar maybe the whole day long.. etc etc

The only way how you, or anybody, could accomplish this piece or a piece of any other maestro in LESS time then its composer, would be to put MORE effort in it than him. Even then you are lacking other things and resources he benefited from.

Not only that because there are many who grow up in the same environment but can't become half as good as him. He was also born with it.

I would argue that they didnt try hard enough, or didnt have the right teaching or practicing routine, or whatever, there are alot of possible obstacles. Or maybe even didnt play the guitar lol

Its quite easy, just practice 10,000 hours.
That will make you an expert in anything.

be careful challenging players you don't know personally. On one hand it is an honest challenge because you assume no one could play that good, but knowing the playing of the individual I find your blind challenge sort of insulting.

yes, by now it is clear you love N. miguel, but take some time to get to know everybody here first. Also, assuming you are a player as well, would be nice to intro yourself by sharing your own video.[;)]

Welcome anyway.

Ricardo
