The 4th Annual Flamenco Festival Chicago is being held from January 12th through Febuary 14th. Performances by Antonio Pitingo, Mayte Martín & Belén Maya, Arcángel with Niño El Morao, Cañizares, and Enrique Morente with Tomatito. There is also a film festival and workshops. Ooh! I've never seen Tomatito. Too bad he is playing with Enrique Morente. Do you know if he'll play any solo stuff. I like Morente, but I'd like to see tomatito featured more.

Don't worry, Tomatito is awesome, accompanying or otherwise. I suspect it'll be half cante and half solo. Just go and enjoy, he is a monster flamenco.

I would rather see Tomatito accompanying. That is his forte. It's not often that you can see a great accompany a great like Morente. Don't worry he will be shineing at what he knows best.
