Hey...Thats GREAT!!
The first section is played really strongly, really demonstrates what I was talking about on the AMA changeover, and I love the improvisation.

Hey...Thats GREAT!!

raphael was a great brazilian guitarist who also incorporated alot of flamenco technique into the music....also recorded with paco
the ama changeover seems like the only way to gain the rhythmic drive of this piece without getting into the 'strategic rubato' often associated with classical performances...
feel?
maybe this piece should be practiced with a pandiero loop with an accent on the 4th semi quaver on each beat...... maybe the way villa lobos played it before segovia interpreted it...
another cool study is the alllegro section of barrios 'la cathedral' or Asturias using a bulerias loop....very slowly at first!
still working on all this but changes the feel...

hi again folks ,

have been looking deeply at some basic technique, i was looking at etude no 7 lobos , etude no 1 lobos , and el colibri.

these are mainstays of the classical rep. yet have noticed a few folks in spain play em' for the life of me i aint got the technique any one play them or have any technical advice on achieving the technique to play some thing like etude no 1 lobos , and or el colibri.

cheers
