Depending on the size of the tile, my veneer stacks could be like 2 cm wide by 20 cm long, and the height is whatever the height of the tile is.

For the taper you basically figure out your inside and outside circumference of the tile channel, and take the difference between those two. Divide that by how many tiles you will need to fill the circle and that's how much you have to taper each one. I think it was like .7 mm in this case...

Actually I think the Space Invader capo would be kinda cool even if I'd be a little scared to do it on the actual guitar
