Anybody know of any flamenco recordings of this Chick Corea standard? I've only heard one so far, on Rafael Cortés' "Gitanos del Agua" with a really nice taranta intro IIRC, but it seems like a lot of guitarists like to jam with it. Recordings with especially awesome improvisation sections preferred!

Well of course there's Michel Camilo's version with Tomatito on their "Spain" album. The only thing flamenco about it is that Tomatito is there and he's playing a Conde, although you can barely hear it for the piano. [&:]

Yeah I'd heard that, and there's a reason I didn't mention it along with the Cortés version [:D] Actually I've been meaning to give that album a real listen lately though.

Only about 50% Flamenco here, but still enjoyable:

For me the ultimate flamenco version is that Paco de lucia and John Mclaughlin too. I have an audio recording of it somewhere as well.

Another good version is by Antonio Forcione and Eduardo Niebla from the album "light and shade" but you will have to dig around the internet to find it.
