The group "Southend Flamenco" has gone from strength to strength. We started off with just 6 dancers at our first dance class on 4th November 2010, but in the workshops we organised at Clifftown Theatre in January 20111 we had 36 people, and about 10 people were turned away at the door, because all the tickets had been sold.
It is clear from this experience that flamenco is a popular form of dance for those who live in the Southend-on-Sea area.
But if you want to join our Southend dance group, then just turn up any Thursday at 7 pm, at the Storehouse Community Centre, Coleman Street, SS2 5AW.
