I appreciate what you're saying Deniz...but I suppose it's because I don't hear 12 beat cycle falsetas in anything (eg Solea..Alegrias..Bulerias..) as being "linear"...
but splilt into groups of 6's...where (in it's simplest form) the first 6 "sets up" the phrase and the second six "finishes it off"...(or does so in multiples of 6).

Just my way of seeing it I suppose..

No problem. You can see it as 3, 6, 12, whatever you want actually. What i was meaning is something different, namely, if you have ROWS instead of a CIRCLE, and when the "cursor" (lets call it that way) is at the end of the cycle (whether it be 3, 6, 12 beat cycle) then you have to JUMP to the first count (for the next cycle). In a circle there is just ONE way of motion, which is normally clockwise. Meaning, beats that immediately follow each other in time are also placed adjacent in vision.
I understand though what you say about the finishing off part of the second six group.

Dont you read all the posts of a thread before writing a bitchy comment? Ron already explained well. I don´t want to repeat myself but I doubt you understood what I wrote in Japanese... so..If you wanna go on bitching, do it in English coz its an English forum. Tnx dude. And in the meanwhile learn some better Japanese.

Doit....,
People in this forum are empolying every technique and language possible just to tell you howmuch they hate your attitude ( not you ). So excuse their minor misspellings, etc. Akatune could perfectly get his message across. You'd better wait for other languages, including their body language.

Remeber: By keeping quiet, you sound much wiser. Be patient and more positive. Good luck.

You've been on this forum for three months. That's a short time to be speaking on everyone's behalf.

Well, whoever it is in those videos plays the guitar well, IMO.

That's Doit--those videos have been on here a few times before. Great player!

Doitsujin -> RE: Flamenco Metronome (Aug. 8 2010 11:16:17)

hmm..ok akatune. Lets forget about it. And use smileys next time.

About the otakus. I don´t read mangas or watch any animes.. But anime otakus aren´t bad. They are very useful for Japan. As Flamenco-otakus like us and many others in dance, singing or culture in general are useful for Flamenco, which is also a thing of a small area. I would not use this term as defamation.

What the hell is this????

This is disgraceful!!!

how can doits "tic tic tic" reply on this thread cause this kind of behaviour

Adam -> RE: Flamenco Metronome (Aug. 9 2010 16:34:38)

Clearly we live in a fallen world.

el prado -> RE: Flamenco Metronome (Aug. 10 2010 16:48:50)

I felt obliged to inform a member in need of a flamenco metronome ( Veitflamenco). of a metronome I had been using.

Do you really think this informative, sincere piece of news:
"Check Metrotunerlive at www. strore-musiclive.com. Some of my classmates and I are using it and are quite happy with it."
desrves: making fun of me or my statemen ,by saying:

"I have a metronome that does tic tic tic tic tic, and I am happy with it!"?

Actually I was upset because I felt I had been tried to be made fun of, personally.

As for the Metrotunerlive, which my classmates and I were first informed of by our teacher Manuel Berraquerro, in Sevilla, I can repeat we are quite happy with it, really. I had already had the old Mundobeat for some time and I prefer Metrotunerlive. Although , I never tried Oscar Herrero's expensive metronome.

My reaction to doit's impolite reply was much harsher, because I couldn't stand such behaviour.

Doitsujin -> RE: Flamenco Metronome (Aug. 10 2010 18:08:09)

Fine then all is said. You are a sensitive guy.

From time to time people drop in the foro and post commercials for all the world and his wife. Its spam. They create an account only to spam some commercials. I thought you are one of these spammers with 4 posts, posting commercials for a metronome that is overpriced and IMO not necessary. Two other people did the same if I remember right in other threads with 1 or 2 posts in total. That looked very much like spamming. So I informed the people in the forum, who seemed to be caught by this useless gadget, that I don´t use such toys.

To be honest..I had a smile on my face reading your tickle-ling answer.. No big deal for me. I don´t give too much about any harsh comments... coz we are in the net. Just stay cool.

Ron.M -> RE: Flamenco Metronome (Aug. 10 2010 18:33:11)

El Prado,

Out of a total of 10 posts (since May), 9 have been about your metronome (1 deleted).

We are keeping an eye on this.

If you have nothing further to contribute to this forum, then goodbye...we will cancel your membership and delete all your posts.

OK?

VietFlamenco -> RE: Flamenco Metronome (Aug. 12 2010 8:04:23)

For those that have used the Oscar Herrero metronome, do you know if the software version will do exactly what the physical metronome will do? I normally practice in my room near a computer. Don't see much need for a metronome if I can just buy the software alone for cheaper.

Paquita -> RE: Flamenco Metronome (Oct. 16 2010 18:15:33)

Hello VietFlamenco,
I can tell you from my own experience. I have bought a flamenco metronom by www.compas-flamenco.com. It gets fine with Windows 7. I am learning palmas and with this metronom you have a lot of different palos and you can also select the speed you want.
On the website you can also find a lot of information about palos, and in Spanish also!!

Paquita
