This reminds me of an old joke among guitarists in the era of both gut strings and tuning pegs, a combination that made tuning notoriously difficult, not to mention the gut strings always breaking. The joke went "If a guitarist lives to be seventy, he has spent twenty years changing strings, forty years tuning up, and ten years actually playing the guitar." [:D][:D]
