........makes Sensational flamenco guitars.

Went into a local shop the other day and what do i spy on the wall??
A blanca with pegs!
Naturally i had to try it out, i soon realized after a chord that this thing was coming home with me, even though i really can't afford buying another guitar right now........but it has all the construction things that make great flamencos!

Very Happy to own #288! Had to give Jeff a thumbs up for a great guitar!!

on a side note, when i looked in the case compartment what did i find??
A 21st Century cejilla!! Good Ol' Keith!

I have heard nothing but raves about Jeff's guitars. Had a long conversation with him about various aspects of construction ( Note to Aaron Green - Jeff uses and swears by Mortice connection) and he is very knowledgeable. Not only are people praising his guitars, but you would not believe what he is selling them for. As recently as a few months ago, he was selling his blanca - entirely constructed personally - for less than $1500! Don't ask me how he does it - I have no idea, but he's legitimate. Last I heard his waiting list was only a little under one year, but you can bet that neither his waiting list nor his prices will stay like that for very long.

This is a signed, dated and numbered All Solid Flamenca Blanca with pegs.

it's a used guitar,(in like new condition),so i don't know how much it was originally.

It's a 2007 #288 Spruce top with what looks like to me Alaskan Yellow cedar b and sides.

i am friends with many luthiers who make Top Notch guitars and have played just about every historical flamenco guitar in Richard Brune's shop not to mention my family and i have owned many flamenco guitars over the past 50 or so years.
I can tell you this from personal experience that this particular guitar has all the build qualities of every historical flamenco guitar i've played and reminds me a lot of my Dads old Manuel de la Chica.
With the exception of the 2 Manuel de la Chica blancas and Brune's own "La Chunga" blanca i've played........this one is by far one of my favorites.

The pegs are smooth as butter.
The bridge is very low profiled.
The neck angle is perfect.
The action is low, but clear tones and gets raspy when pushed hard.
The finish is thin and applied very nice.
The top is tight grained and littered with buttery medullary<sp?) rays.
The guitar is extremely light!

For what i paid for it, just a plain steal!!!!!

i have owned many top of the line Ramirez, Conde, and various others.[:)]

i hope this a better more complete review.
Sorry if i didn't understand before. i'm new here.

I just can't believe i've never heard of this guy before.

Thanks for the input guys.

Cheers!

Can you put a sound sample? I'd love to hear it.
