Ron, We're not angry at Britain, we're pissed at an international corporation called BP. If you can call it pissed, we're mostly laying over on our backs watching this oil leak video feed and being complacent like dumb Americans. Many of us grew up playing soccer, more and more all the time. We've only had a few generations of soccer, but in a few more we will be a force to reckon with. The mid 1970's was when the AYSO got on it's feet and started to attract kids. ( American Youth Soccer Organization) So we need another generation or two for the culture to get more solid. For a country with the amount of contact withe the international soccer world we're not doing so bad. America is a sleeper cell of soccer terrorists as you'all will soon see. If you go into a bar or restaurant in a Latin community the TV station will be set on one of the World Cup games. As the country becomes more Latin, South American, South Asian and African soccer will become more mainstream. The tipping point where it supplants the big three may not happen for a while. It may never, but soccer will gain in popularity and our teams will become stronger. Laugh now while you still can...........'cause in a few years we are going to feed you your zamboomabas through your noses. JA JAJAJAJA ! I'll also add if you want to now why I think this, the most popular civic sports improvements to parks and cities now is to build soccer fields. Forget about professional development, if you go to the soccer parks in America it's where all the Brazilians hang out and play together mixed with the American kids. Either the Brazilans will get worse or the Americans will get better. I'm betting on better. Another generation that grows up rubbing elbows with the Brazilians we will be hot stuff.
