apak -> Finding accommodation in southern Spain (May 27 2010 10:07:55)

I have been reading through the forums, and sounds like quite a few people have had experience travelling to Spain to take flamenco guitar instructions. My plan is to go from beginning of October to end of December. I want to divide this time staying in Granada, Sevilla, and Jerez and take lessons for most days of the week. I know that schools like Carmen de las Cuevas also arrange from accommodations. However, the prices on their websites seem on the high side (I could be wrong since I have no reference). For example, full room and board is quoted as over $1000. Perhaps I could save some money finding my own accommodation? All I need is a spartan but quite room, where the neighbors would tolerate me practicing for a few hours. If it's with a family that would offer meals, that would be a bonus. Any suggestions you could share?
