this is funny. actually, my composition challenge piece was inspired by her vibraphone playing in the movie, "touch the sound," though it doesn't resemble it at all. [:-]

I had the same...just found out today after watching some more clips that she is deaf.

I am curious to your composition. Did you record it without shoes on? [:D]

She really has a nice touch on the vibraphone.
