did a wedding reception with a dancer for 40mins today, she did sevillanas and tarantos and i played solea and accompanied on the sevillanas. the solea i played for about 10 mins was compas and various simple falsetas by paco pena and juan martins book. i was chuffed i played a 2 min tremolo without duffing anytin up and was alot more relaxed afterwards. no one really took much notice and was simply background music for people. the crowd def respond better to visual stuff ie the dancer, she did a great set and people definitely responded better to the dance. brought my anders guitar and was cacking myself when people with fistfuls of pints and brusk walking passed by. i got fazed during the end of the set of sevillanas and lost compas on the final copla, mainly cause i let myself be distracted by people around me and was worried about the guitar getting bumped or knocked. i need to play in front of people alot more, must bring the guitar down to my local a lot more. otherwise pretty good experience
