It could be that all of his guitars; at least the top of the line, are going through Ron Hudson's store in Houston Texas, "Memorial Music." They are selling like hot cakes and Ron is having a little trouble keeping them in stock. In fact, I've heard that they are sold with-in a few days after they arrive.

Hey Tom,
How would you compare Navarro's Reyes model to yours. I heard that he has consulted you a few times.

Best ~

I haven't seen his latest models for the past year but I believe Ron Hudson when he tells me that Navarro has nailed it right on. Poncho has good hands and all he needed was a little extra knowledge about the design. Poncho had to first try his domed top with it but he later tried my flat top, like the Reyes, and he thinks this is the way to go.

All the credit goes to Manuel Reyes for his insight into building great flamenco guitars. It's really all about knowledge since many builders are very exacting with their work.

Richard Brune told me that Poncho built such a nice Miguel Rodriguez style classical for his shop that there is no reason to carry any other guitars in that style at any price.

Now, That's a real feather in Poncho's cap but I'm wondering where this leaves me as a supplier to Brune :-)

Also, I might mention that Rich Sayage said the same thing about Poncho's Rodriguez style that he recently sold from his store.
