Hi, I was wondering if mapple has more impact when a guitar is constructed rather than use the typical sycamore wood for sides and back, which one would be the most louder guitar? or really there is no difference at all? Thank you!!!

I don't know where you live, but Sycamore takes on different meanings in different parts of the world. Here in North America, Sycamore is a type of Maple; hence the name Sycamore Maple. I might be tone deaf, but I can't hear one iota of difference between Sycamore and whatever other types of Maple are used.

Depends a lot on your choice of pickup and amp.

Actually I just finished two nearly identical flamencos, one cypress and one western maple with sister Italian spruce tops. The cypress is punchier and the maple is sweeter but as for which is louder I cannot tell.

That's because your amp only goes to 10.
