I was just getting my Fela Kuti selection together because this weekend we go with a few friends to a beachhouse and have a Fela Kuti weekend. We take along a lot of percussion instruments and go loose...with a few beers of course)
It reminded me that I always have been a collecter (12" / lp etc), and if I liked an artist very much I was always lookiing for more of that artist.
Like lately the Antonio Mairena collection.
My flamenco collection is growing and I really like all those anthology series. It gives a good insight for which artist to look further.
I wander if there are more people amongst us who have that collector-addiction? I love to see that.
