Really sad to hear that Sean. An amazing singer ! Hang on I just went to read his biography on one of the flamenco websites and it says he died in 1981, was there another Terremoto de Jerez ? Am I being thick here ? OK got it now, it was his son ! And only 40 years old !

Saw him perform with Israel Galvan and Alfredo Lagos in Stockholm a few years ago. He was superb. Very sad to hear this.

Sad. His poor family. I was told he had a brain tumor and that was the main illness. Flamenco lost a member of one of the great families.

You can see he had surgery done in this video. Here's a beautiful clip of his daughter singing to him. Very sad.
