HuBaghdadi -> Getting a guitar from France (Jan. 20 2010 0:34:19)

Hey,
A friend of mine is currently in Paris, France.
I'm considering investing his existence in France and ask him to get me a new guitar :)
Yes I know I shouldn't buy a guitar unless a try it by hand but what can I do? he is France and I'm not.
I' considering spending about 400$-600$ and a humicase.
Do you suggest any good guitars (my playing style is both, classic and flamenco)?
Will 400-600$ get me a good guitar? or I have to spend more?
In the case you live in France or you know about it, would you please recommend good shops so I tell my friend about them?
I would really like to hear your opinions.
