is the bridge and neck made out of wood? The bridge is made from 2 mahogany French window offcuts glued together. I mounted it on a wooden block screwed to the base board so I could tension the strings. Finished with a drop of olive oil The neck is made out of a piece of pine from an old bed. I built it as accurately as I could so it has a scarf jointed head, ply head veneer from my cajon build, Spanish heel, old tuners from Louis' C3F. Again finished with a drop of olive oil Strings by D'Addario[:D] Cake luthiery at its best and cheapest!!! Seriously though, I enjoyed fabricating the the neck and bridge so much I'm very tempted to try a real build.
