Arash -> Paquete - bulerias - chords / tuning ? (Nov. 30 2009 6:29:26)

can someone help me out with the chords which paquete plays in this video?

i can't read notes, so tabs would be really great.

i am really interested in this part of the video

0.27 - 1.23

and is this normal tuning or alternate tuning?

thanks [8|]

Normal tuning, about a semitone flat overall, but weird american sounding chords. Key of Bminor, sort of like Taranta.

E-------------------------------------------------------------------------
B----0--------0-------------0-----------0-----------------0--------0---
G-6-------6--------7--------------2-----------4----6-----------7-------
D-4-------4--------5--------------2-----------4----4-----------5-------
A-5-------0------------------------------------2-----0--------------------
E-7-----------------7--------------2-----------------------------7---------etc

Hope that helps.

Ricardo

thank you very much Ricardo!

i was giving up hope of receiving an answer, but knew that there might be a slight hope that you would stop by, know the answer and reply :)

yes, the chords are somehow unusual for flamenco, but somehow i like the mood and the excitement which is built up with these chords in the bulerias.

Pretty amazing stuff. Reminds me of the Dani Mendez video, which is to be found under the same channel. I think he slides on the g string, beginning at 4th fret when going to the 2x22 chord?
