(Nov. 8 2009 12:10:41) While giving nodding recognition to Al Qaida, the Taliban, Global Warming and the current Economic Crisis, Councillor Hicks of Winchester, England addresses the major issue now affecting the Human Race in his recent speech on "Judgement and Democracy". I'm sure Nick Clegg and the Lib Dems are very proud of him! And I'm sure Alec Salmond (SNP) is laughing his head off! [:D] (Apparently he met an "alien" in a Winchester high steet, dressed in a Tutu and ballet shoes....) http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/district/winchester/4232255.A_close_encounter_with_an_alien_in_Winchester/ You get paid about $1600 a month just for turning up for about 3 hours a week for a meeting as a local Councillorl Much, much more if it's your full-time job! (about $60k to $100k per annum, or more!) Am I missing out here? (hmmm...thinks)..[:-][:D] This may give some of our non-British viewers an insight into the society where "Monty Python" came from....
